New Jersey: These 2 Stores Will Accept Expired Bed Bath & Beyond Coupons
Earlier this week, Bed Bath & Beyond announced that it will soon be shutting its doors. The household items retailer has filed for bankruptcy following years of dismal sales and losses and numerous failed turnaround plans, per NorthJersey.com.
The Union, N.J.-based company said it voluntarily made the filing “to implement an orderly wind down of its businesses while conducting a limited marketing process to solicit interest in one or more sales of some or all of its assets.”
As of right now, the company’s 360 Bed Bath & Beyond stores and its 120 Buy Buy Baby brick-and-mortar as well as its websites will remain open while the company files for bankruptcy. The retailer said it anticipates closing all of its stores by June 30.
The better news is that there are two retailers that will accept all of the expired coupons you might still have from Bed Bath & Beyond. Despite the announcement that Bed Bath & Beyond and Buy Buy Baby are set to close soon, they are reportedly not accepting coupons at this time.
The Container Store announced Wednesday that it will offer 20% off any single item between now and May 31 if they show a “competitor’s blue coupon” at any retail store location.
Big Lots announced Thursday that any customer who presents a Bed Bath & Beyond coupon will receive 20% off a purchase of $50 or more between now and May 7.
The Container Store has four New Jersey locations:
- Bridgewater
- Cherry Hill
- Livingston
- Paramus
Big Lots has 28 New Jersey locations to choose from.
