Philadelphia is set for a landmark 2026, when multiple major sports events converge on the City of Brotherly Love.
Baseball
The Major League Baseball (MLB) All-Star Game will be hosted at Citizens Bank Park. Events will take place at Citizens Bank Park and the Pennsylvania Convention Center from Saturday, July 11, through Tuesday, July 14.
Basketball
On March 20 and 22, Xfinity Mobile Arena will host the first and second rounds of the NCAA Division I Men's Basketball Championship. Tickets are available now.
Golf
The PGA Championship will be staged at Aronimink Golf Club in May. The first championship was held here in 1962, when Gary Player claimed the first of his two PGA Championship titles.
Additionally, the U.S. Men's Amateur Championship at Merion Golf Club will take place in August. When the U.S. Amateur was last held at Merion Golf Club in 2005, Edoardo Molinari became the first player from Italy to win the Havemeyer Trophy.
Soccer
Philadelphia will host six matches for the 2026 FIFA World Cup at Lincoln Financial Field. The World Cup matches are expected to draw more than a million visitors to the city. The tournament runs from June 11 to July 19, 2026, with Philly's matchups held between June 14 and July 4, 2026, the last of which falls on the 250th birthday of the United States.
