Oak Park To Host World Dance Day With Performers of All Ages

World Dance Day returns to Oak Park on April 19. The Oak Park Arts & Cultural Diversity Commission will present the gathering at the Oak Park Community Center, bringing residents together to watch dancers from across the globe.

The show runs from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at 14300 Oak Park Blvd.

Performers of all ages will take part. Dancers will share their traditions, giving attendees a window into how movement tells stories across continents and generations.

The celebration honors creativity and the varied backgrounds that make Oak Park what it is. Each year, this program offers residents a chance to learn about different art styles while spending time with neighbors.
