Old Navy Announces Official Opening Date For New N.J. Store
Old Navy has officially announced its opening date for another New Jersey store. The clothing retailer will be opening their Kearny location on Feb. 4 according to NJ Advance Media. It will be located at 274 Passaic Ave. in the Kearny Plaza Shopping Center. The new Old Navy store is replacing Modell’s Sporting Goods.
“We are thrilled to be able to bring Old Navy to Kearny Plaza and add to an impressive list of major retailers that are now a part of the Kearny community,” Larry Cohen, of the shopping center’s operating company, said.
Old Navy is known for its affordable women, men, and children’s clothing. It will be in the company of several retailers in the Kearny Plaza Shopping Center. Currently occupying the shopping center are BJ’s Wholesale Club, PetSmart, Five Below, Carter’s, Ulta Beauty, Hand & Stone, and Sherwin-Williams.
According to the outlet, Old Navy opened 25 company-owned stores last year and is expected to open 20 more in 2023.
The clothing retailer is not the only new business that is set to join the Kearny Plaza Shopping Center. A Target is also set to open but there is no set date as of yet.
Old Navy currently has 40 stores in New Jersey and over 1,200 stores nationwide.
