NEW YORK, NEW YORK - OCTOBER 11: A view of burgers on display during the Blue Moon Burger Bash presented by Pat LaFrieda Meats hosted by Rachael Ray at Pier 97 on October 11, 2019 in New York City.

A new premium burger joint has finally opened a New Jersey location. Kings of Kobe opened at Jersey City’s Newport Centre Mall on Oct. 5 and is officially the Garden State’s first location of the restaurant. The company has another location in New York City in Midtown at 650 W. 42nd St. in Hell’s Kitchen.

The Kings of Kobe location is located on the first level of the New Jersey mall right next to The Cheesecake Factory.

Per their website, the restaurant offers a variety of burgers made from all-natural American wagyu beef. They also have vegetarian burgers, fish burgers, and a clubhouse sandwich that features avocado smash and applewood bacon. They also offer an assortment of desserts and an extensive wine, cocktail, and beer menu.

The Jersey City location seats up to 230 guests with a 30-seat bar. Although the weather in Jersey will soon be on the chillier side, the restaurant features 40 outdoor seats for the warmer months. If you’d like to dine with your party outside, we suggest you call the restaurant prior to arriving to see if they are available for outdoor dining.

Kings of Kobe began as an elevated hot dog pop-up in Manhattan in 2015. The brand unveiled its first brick-and-mortar spot in 2017.

The restaurant also wanted to make sure that the space not only offered delicious food from locally sourced Wagyu beef, but they also paid attention to the details of the place. The interiors at both locations are brimming with colorful accents, designed exclusively by graffiti artist and New York legend, Hektad, their site explains.

The Kings of Kobe is open from Wednesday through Sunday from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. You can make a reservation here and take a look at the gorgeous plates of food they offer below:
